Flare's Annual General Meeting will be held the week after production. Elections for the 2008 Executive Committee and Sub-Committee heads will also take place at the AGM. If you feel that you have what it takes or know someone else who does, please email your nominations to sulynn@flaredance.com before the AGM. The details of the AGM are:

Being part of the committee is a great character building experience, allows you to have an influence on something you are passionate about as well as looks good on your resume. Again, please feel free to nominate yourself or any other Flare member you believe capable of filling these positions.

SUB-COMMITEE NOMINATIONS

Only sub committee heads will be elected at the AGM. An additional meeting will be held next year to recruit any members eager to assist and fill the remaining positions on the sub-com.
CHARITY:
- Liase and organize charity events or performances for Flare
EVENTS:
- Organize events for Flare members throughout the year
- Create synergy and cohesiveness among members
PUBLICITY:
- Organize publicity material, chalking, rostering table sitting, poster stick-ups, publicity performances, banner painting
- Basically tell everyone about Flare
TICKETING:
- Organize the tickets for Flare Anual production
- Print tickets, assign tickets to members, selling tickets to the public, maintaining accurate ticketing lists
SPONSORSHIP:
- Look for sponsorship opportunities for members AND the production
- Arrange fundraising opportunities (eg. cadbury and other ideas)
DESIGN:
- Keep track of Flare costumes, arrange costume sessions and maintain the standard and quality of costumes for all pieces.
