Pre-production party cancelled
Quite sadly, the pre-production party got cancelled due to some complications. No worries, I'm sure we'll see enough of each other during bump-in week! :)

Pre-Production Party @ the beach!
What is a dance production is you don't know who you're dancing too?? Come and join Flare to chill as a group of friends and not just be 'a dancer' in it! It's free for members and $5 for non-members! (don't we all like free things?)

Okay, so this blog is getting mouldy like last week's bread. But before you write it off just yet, let's be helpful in assisting the events committee plan our pre-production party!
We had our very first pre-production party last year and it was a nice dinner where we all dressed up in our pretty dresses and shirts. This year, Bud is wondering if you would still want to pay a bit for a nice dinner and have the fun of dressing up and seeing each other in clothes other than bummy trackies, OR would you rather attend a (much cheaper or free, if possible) beach party (at the nearest beach we can get to the city) where we can all just chill and mingle and have fun in a more relaxed environment?

The featured picture was that of Steve Bracks who used to be the Victorian premier (he just stepped down a few weeks ago).
Results:
76% knew who he was
18% had an inkling but weren't absolutely sure
6% didn't know who the hell he was

If you have never heard of the latest networking craze "FACEBOOK", you must be living under a rock (or I should congratulate you for successfully filtering all those email invitations to your junk folder).
According to an article published in the Sydney Morning Herald on 20 August 2007, so many employees click away on Facebook at work that an internet filtering company estimates the site may be costing Australian businesses $5 billion a year or more!
Love it or hate it, it's a current epidemic that is sweeping the world and you can't run from it! Do YOU have facebook? Let's see how many of us are part of the stats (or one day will be)!
