Question of The Week

Sometime at camp there was a potato-peel-off in the kitchen between the traditionalist Forward-Potato-Peelers (peeler going away from person) versus the radical Backward-Potato-Peelers (peeler going towards person).

The results were:
1. Caleb (Backward Peeler)
2. Jeissy (Forward Peeler)
3. Vinh (Backward Peeler)
4. Joon (Forward Peeler)

The conclusion is that backward peeling is a lot more effortless and efficient (the skin comes off in one long strip from one end to the other), however, most people are just scared of the idea of a blade coming towards their thumb.

On the flip side, although forward peeling only takes off little pieces of potato skin at a time, it can be just as fast if done hastily (although fast peeling is just as finger-slicing scary).

Even after the results of the peel-off, the argument still continued and cries of "who peels their potatoes backwards???" "It's the only way to go!!!" could be heard...(apparently people can get very passionate and loyal about their stand on which method of potato peeling is the best)...

Hence, this week's question...

"DO YOU PEEL YOUR POTATOES FORWARDS OR BACKWARDS??"
